Our youth group is for 6th grade through 12th grade. The teen years are a very critical time. Our goal is to disciple teens to study and apply God’s Word for themselves and to know what it means for their lives. We also offer teens the opportunity to encourage and fellowship with one another in our classes and activities.

We meet for Teen Bible Fellowship each week at 9:30 am. During this time, we explore different biblical topics together with relevant application to students’ lives today.

On Wednesday nights we have a time of prayer, teaching, and games. We study together through a biblical topic or book to understand how God’s Word applies to our lives.

We have activities every month or so as well. These can take the form of active games, a fellowship after church, or a service opportunity ministering to those with needs inside or outside of our church. We seek to make these times to get to know each other better so that we can encourage one another to grow in a pursuit of knowing Christ.

Nursery

We have qualified and screened workers who will care for your infants and toddlers during our Adult Bible Fellowship and service times. Our goal is to allow you to go to services knowing that your children are in good hands. We also have a pager system that can discreetly alert you if your child needs something from you.

Children’s Sunday School

We offer Sunday School classes for ages 4 through 5th grade during the Adult Bible Fellowship hour. These classes seek to provide an overview of the storyline of Scripture as they progress through the Bible on a 3-year cycle. Our Children’s church also meets during the Sunday morning service for ages 4 years old through 2nd grade.

Sunday Night Kids

During our Sunday evening service, children ages 4 years old through 2nd grade participate in our Sunday night kids’ program. This program teaches kids why we believe what we believe.

Wednesday Night

We offer a children’s class during Wednesday night prayer meeting that uses Frontline Club curriculum. Children ages 5 years old through 5th grade are encouraged to work on daily devotions, Scripture memory, and are taught a lesson that applies Biblical truth to how they live throughout the week.

Local

In order to be faithful witnesses of Jesus Christ, our church participates in local outreach to the community through the Piedmont Women’s Center, Greenville County Detention Center, Miracle Hill, Kempton of Greenville Assisted Living, and Riverside Middle School.

Global

Our church believes in the necessity of global missions as an extension of our mandate to make disciples both in Greer, SC, and throughout the world. In addition to monthly support, our Ropeholder’s ministry seeks to provide every missionary of the church with a personal contact in the congregation for prayer and edification. We currently support missionaries or ministries from ABWE International, Biblical Ministries Worldwide, Frontline Missions International, Gospel Fellowship Association, Lighthouse Baptist Missions, and the Wilds Christian Camp.

Family Missionary Outreach is an integral ministry of CBC. Every spring and fall the church takes time to focus on one of our missionaries or on a particular mission field through special services and events.
